Swimathon 2025

I completed the triple 5km Swimathon 2025 event, to raise awareness and funs for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.

The event consisted of 5km swims three days in a row.

I completed the first at the St Peters Centre in Burnley, the second at Padiham Leisure centre, then the third back at St Peters.

Looking forward to taking part in the event again next year! This year one swimmer created his own ‘triple, triple 5km’, doing 15km per day for three days. He has invited me to join him in doing the same next year, I’ve said yes… I’ll worry about that one when it comes to doing it!
