10km Swim For Cancer Research

Wild Swim

What Am I Doing?

Swimming 10km in March for Cancer Research, the cancer charity.

What Is Swim 10km For Cancer Research?

Cancer Research challenged people to swim 10km in March 2025, to raise awareness and funds to fight cancer.

As I was doing the Triple 5km for Swimathon 2025 already, who raise money for Cancer Research and Marie Curie, I thought I’d combine the cancer charity challenges and see how many kilometres of swimming I could do in March.

How’s It Going?

In total I needed to do 10km.

I did:

Week One (3,200m)

1st – 100m | 3rd – 600m | 4th – 2,500m

Week Two (11,295m)

8th – 625m | 10th – 5,000m | 11th – 1,020m | 12th – 1,475m | 13th – 2,525m | 14th – 650m

Week Three (1,475m)

17th – 750m | 18th – 500m | 21st – 225m

Week Four (1,000m)

22nd – 750m | 27th – 250m

Week Five (15,000m)

29th – 5,000m | 30th – 5,000m | 31st – 5,000m

Total = 31,970, (31.97km)
